Healthy after school snacks the kids will love!

For those of us in the southern hemisphere we are well into term 3 of school, and for those in the northern hemisphere it’s time to start a new school year. Recently the boys have been coming home from school ravenous. Knowing dinner isn’t far away I’m reluctant to give them snacks that are too filling but there’s no way they will last until dinner hour without something. Top 5 healthy snacks for school lunchbox

And just like that term 2 has started for us here in New South Wales. Blue skies are scheduled and dare I say it but the two weeks of school holidays hasn’t been too bad. Then came the age of 5 which I was enjoying until that little thing called ‘testosterone’ hit. A physician told me that testosterone hits boys at the age of 5 and 12. I had a feeling something was happening because as we were coming up to 5 the bigger emotions started. The crying for no reason (and I mean no reason that I could work out!), the Jackal and Hyde personality, the love for you one minute and the dislike the next.  Continue reading
