How many of us would like to be more organised? I like to think of myself as organised, and if I’m being honest most of my friends would say I am organised. However there are days when I feel far from that! If you’re a busy mum, a corporate worker, a social entertainer or all of that in one, then Bellhop Files might be the solution that brings it all together. Continue reading

A letter to my boys
Time is going by way too fast. I remember the time I found out I was pregnant with you and the days you were born like it was yesterday. I remember the first few months as I struggled as a mum with both of you – first and second time mum – but enjoyed the days that we got through unscathed. The pain of initially breastfeeding and then the feeling of loss when I decided the time was right to stop. The sleepless nights – there were many – and the days were we smiled and laughed. The frustrating times especially through the age of 3 – gosh how I dislike that age! However I remember far more good days than not good. Continue reading
Review: The Food Bottle – Subo
While my boys are well out of the first food stage, they’re still into messy eating. Between school, day care and activities, I like to have snacks with me that I can feed them on the go. I’m not a fan of food mess (who is?!) and I really don’t like using 10 wet wipes to just clean 1 set of hands. So when I heard about the Food Bottle I had to give it a try. Continue reading
Let’s get to it – school snack ideas!
Well that came around fast! Six weeks of school holidays and now school is back in less than a week. It’s time to get my bake on and start storing school lunches and snacks. In between work, family life, kid’s activities and everything else in between, I find if I bulk bake and store items then I don’t feel stressed when it comes to packing lunches. I tend to do this on the weekend prior to school starting so there’s room in the freezer! Continue reading
1 in 4 (GUEST POST BY Andrea FROM The Corporate Mummy)
I ‘met’ Andrea from The Corporate Mummy through Instagram. I have loved following her posts, reading her blogs and felt like I knew her – as it is with the a lot of people in this digital age. But a while ago Andrea went through something enormously personal and devastating – an ectopic pregnancy. She has written this very powerful and heartfelt post for my blog which outlines the emotions many women go through in a similar situation to this. Continue reading
Ways to Making Christmas Countdown Magical for Your Kids (Guest post by Zara from High Style Life)
Zara is a mum of three – one furry kid and two human kids – who is a designer and a freelance writer. She recently approached me about writing a guest article and I was delighted to have her on-board. With Christmas literally around the corner, Zara has written some ideas on how to make that last countdown magical for the kids, while hopefully avoiding stress and a maxed out credit card! Continue reading
Review: An Elf for Christmas
For as long as I can remember I’ve loved Christmas – the decorations, the songs, the food. That didn’t change when we had children. In fact, if anything, it increased my love of Christmas and creativity as we now see it through the eyes of the children – the excitement, the look on their faces, the squeals when they see more and more decorations being put up in shops, streets etc. Continue reading
Moving house – does anyone enjoy it?!
I love the different seasons of the year for different reasons. With spring, everything starts to become colourful again after a cold and drab winter. Spring is apparently a good time to move house and that’s what we did recently. We were lucky enough to find something within a few weeks and not too far from where we were originally. However, we have children – and moving with children is NEVER fun! Continue reading
Who Am I? (Guest post by Hilary from My Mommy Doodles)
I stumbled across a blog recently called ‘My Mommy Doodles‘ and was immediately captivated by the doodles! I clicked on the site and started to read, and continued reading for quite a while. Each story was as captivating as each fabulous doodle that accompanied the stories.
Hilary is a mum to two young kids and wife to one husband. She lives in Connecticut and was raised in NYC. But aside from that, she is extremely artistic and has followed her passion for art to try and achieve that balance between a fulfilling work career and family. I’m delighted that she agreed to write a post for my blog – I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did. Continue reading
What a sleepless introduction to spring.
First week of spring for those of us in the southern hemisphere. I have to say I’m glad to see the back of winter with its constant colds, coughs and snotty noses but this introduction to spring has brought the cough from hell and sleepless nights. Continue reading
