I’m Debbie. A wife, mum, corporate worker, organiser of everything, diplomat and negotiator, cleaner, cook, taxi driver, teacher – and everything else in between!
I moved to Australia with my husband in 2003 (has it been that long??!). We travelled, lived life to the full then set up home, got married and had kids. Most parents would agree having kids is a life changer in more ways than one. It’s relentless but rewarding. Mostly it’s positive.
I love a good book, champagne, wine, long lunches preferably without the kids and the odd peaceful night sleep. I exercise and get cranky if I haven’t done any. I believe a good run in the fresh air clears all the cobwebs. I value family, great friendships and good manners. I love travelling and trying new experiences. I love summer days but give me an open fire in winter with good food and wine and I’m yours!
I started this blog to relive the highs, lows and embarrassing moments of my journey. Come with me, comment, add your own stories and join in the discussions.
