And just like that term 2 has started for us here in New South Wales. Blue skies are scheduled and dare I say it but the two weeks of school holidays hasn’t been too bad. There are such things as ‘I suck’ days.
Have you ever had an “I suck” day? I have on many occasions. Just recently actually. I felt unorganised, there was so much happening (and it’s only April!), the kids were whingey about one thing or another, I hadn’t been able to exercise, the house felt like a pig-sty and I was just totally over all of it! I ranted and grunted as I moved through the house. My shoulders were hunched. I walked around with a face that would make a priest back off. I was fed up. Continue reading
Out of the sunroof
April is Cesarean Awareness month and I’m lucky to have had two of them. When you’re pregnant, especially for the first time, there is so much pressure to get it right. It can almost feel as if you’re cheating your pregnancy by having a c-section. Some are planned, some are emergency but at the end of the day all anyone should want is a safe delivery for mum and bub. While each delivery will have it’s own story, there are positive and negative stories to popping the baby out by pushing or by coming out of the sunroof. Continue reading
